Virtual Photo Frame

My apologies as I start this article This is NOT a virtual photo frame. But the displaying properties of the frame are definitely virtual.

Launched by "Parrot," the French company that makes Bluetooth devices, the Parrot Photo Viewer 7" will add class and style to your photo displays. Gone are the days of manually changing photographs inside frames. It gets done with a click of a button now, and without miles of wires, or memory cards.

What is Bluetooth?

Well, for the uninitiated, and the tech unsavvy, like me...

"Bluetooth wireless technology enables voice and data to be sent via a short distance radio link. It connects a wide range of electronic equipment without requiring additional cables. Furthermore, it extends the communication possibilities for mobile phones and a large number of devices."

So now you know.

The Parrot Photo Viewer is a Bluetooth enabled device that lets a person share and display ones favorite moments by digitally sending them from a Bluetooth phone or computer to the Photo Viewer.

The 7" wide Photo Viewer is programmed to display up to 262,144 shades of color for bright, contrasting photos with a resolution of 720x480 pixels. Wow.

And the display can be adjusted. Other technical features include a photo back of 500 photos, freeze frame of a single photograph or a slide show and the possibility of vertical as well as horizontal alignment...there are many more.

One great plus point is the backlight of the Photo Viewer which automatically adjusts to the brightness in the display area. Thus screen brightness is less in the day, more at night.

The frame of the Parrot Photo Viewer is available in a variety of wood or leather finishes that complement myriad interiors and design statements.

The Parrot Blue Tooth Photo Viewer is available in two sizes, 7 inches and 3.5 inches and weighs a maximum of 17 ounces.
