Stop Says the Red Handle Go Says the Green

Stop says the red light, go says the green, wait says the yellow one...blinking in between.

A favorite rhyme of my 4-year-old, one that I have heard over and over again. We are definitely not here to discuss nursery rhymes.

But then this whacky door handle reminded me of it and I just had to link the two.

You see The Lighting Handle is this cool and absolutely whacky new gadget that glows green if the room/bathroom/boardroom/etc. is empty and glows red if the said rooms are occupied.

Wow isn't it?

The Lighting Handle has an acrylic tip that glows red or green as needed.

Now let me explain how it works. This handle is connected to a power source through the door and is activated by a turn of the thumb. Si the handle flashes red or green every time someone turns the switch, depending on the state of the room...The thumb turn device comes included in the package.

The Lighting Handle looks stylish during the days and really out of the world when it glows in the dark.

Included in the package are the following

1 handle with acrylic tip
1 handle of steel
1 thumbs turn.

The cost of The Lighting Handle is high at $440.00, but the contraption is cool.

Is it really necessary?

Who can't tell if/when the bathroom is in use?  Besides, most people will be using their briefcases--and it will be SIMPLE to tell when they are being used (the color will typically be brownish, and it is the aroma that will vary).
