Not only is it the time of year for cheery holiday greetings but also for important charity holiday messages. Companies around the world have come up with their own ways to spread very importnat holiday messages. Here's a look at some of the best from around the world:
These were sent to those on the Bray Leino Bristol Christmas list, and the copy underneath the gingerbread's leg reads, "This year, instead of Christmas cards we're donating money to the No More Landmines Trust. Best wishes from all of us at Bray Leino Bristol. "

This gift box was sent to company managers and when they opened the box a sleeping child fell out with a card near his feet that read, "For some, Christmas is never merry."

The copy of this ornament (real food sent vacuum sealed!) sent to restaurant owners in Munich read, "There are 177,000 people in Munich living below the poverty line. The Münchner Tafel regularly provides food for 15,000 of them. Please help us extend our support to more of those who need it. Thank you." This mailing campaign ran in correspondence with a print campaign to raise money for the 2007 Christmas Food Program.

Every year, the premature baby unit at Edith Cavell hospital in Belgium sends cards to the other hospital departments as well as to ex-patients. They sent this card in mid-October. The message in the card reads, "It's a little premature, but Happy Christmas."
