Twilight Turtle
When I was growing up, I had the traditional night light. It had one of those tiny bulbs with a plastic cover that only covered the front half of the bulb. I guess that was so a child couldn't touch the bulb directly. Too bad any one year child could pop the cover off. Today, companies appear to have taken night lights to the next level along with everything else out there for kids.
The Twilight Turtle, made by Cloud b, transforms nurseries and bedrooms into a planetarium. From within his plastic shell, Twilight Turtle projects a complete starry night sky onto the walls and ceiling of any room. Twilight Turtle is also an educational toy. Within the star patterns created by Twilight Turtle, there are 8 actual constellations. Parents can sit with their children and identify these major constellations using the illustrated Twilight Turtle Star Guide that is included. When you press the button to turn on the Twilight Turtle, it stays on for 45 minutes before automatically shutting off. If you are interested in buying it, click here .
Egg Night Light
The Egg Night Light also creates a feeling of sleeping under the stars. Light projected through tiny openings on the ceramic egg’s surface creates a dream like environment that is perfect for bedtime. It has two settings and has a metal base. If you are want to see the ten different colors it comes in, click here.
Animal Night LightsI also came across the good old fashioned night light ... kind of. The difference is that this bulb is hand blown by a master glass designer. It comes in either a cow or a pig. It uses a 4 watt bulb. If you want to check them out, click here.

My Two Cents
Submitted on September 19th, 2006 by Anonymous (not verified)(1) TWILIGHT TURTLE: Turtle may present a hard case for slowing down somnambulants, but I think little kids might still be tempted to try touching the bulb inside--possibly leading to "shell shock"
(2) EGG NIGHT LIGHT: Since its yoke (metal base) is at the bottom, you may gently spin the Egg Night Light on your night stand if you want to hear the peeps
I checked out the site to see what colors are available, and I can't believe that they have one called "Lush OLIVE Star"--whose name obviously was chosen to prevent any of us from being in the LIMELIGHT.]
(3) ANIMAL NIGHT LIGHTS: So cute and irresistible, you will want to touch it everynight to see what the ultimate hand blown job feels like.

a good educational toy
Submitted on December 17th, 2006 by Educational Toy (not verified)I was looking for an Educational Toy for indoor playing for my kids and my occupational therapist recommended this clics toy store, the clics has excellent consumer reviews online. The creative colors on these educational toys are for parents of Age 3-5 and teachers of Age 5-7. Needless to say my son plays with these clics every waking hour of the day. It is easy to construct huge things in minutes and doesn’t hurt when mom steps on the toy barefoot. Hah hah.
