USPTO Annual Independent Inventor Conference will be held on Sept 8-9, 2006


The Department of Commerce United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) announced the agency's annual Independent Inventors Conference. The event will be held September 8-9, 2006 at the USPTO's Alexandria, Virginia headquarters located at 600 Dulany Street.

 

First time attendees are invited to participate in a pre-conference from 5-7 p.m. on September 7. The pre-conference is a basic primer on patents and trademarks and is included in the registration fee.

The line up for this year's conference speakers include:

Stephen M. Pinkos, Deputy Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property,

John Doll, Commissioner for Patents, and

Lynne Beresford, Commissioner for Trademarks.

Registration is now open for this 2-day event. The fee is $50 per person for both days. The registration fee includes all sessions and presentations, morning and afternoon refreshments, lunch for both days and a networking reception on Friday evening.
