[acidfree:1180 align=left size=240] MocoLoco.com had an intersting feature about conceptual surfaces that they discoverd at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair 2006.
FAF studio has designed some great looking products made of laser cut mylar (using mylar polyster vellum). The fronds have crystals at the end that make them move with the slightest external movement such as a breeze.
[adsense:120x240:1:1]They are using them for artwork panels, dividers or other wall surface, but they also showed an interesting concept piece/lamp.
