Invent -a -Toy World Games


Will the next best toy inventor be your kid?

Enter your child's Toy or Game into the 2007 Invent-A-Toy World Games sponsored by By Kids For Kids ™ (BKFK™), a company "dedicated to inspire the innovative spirit within every kid." The contest is now until April 6, 2007 and BKFK accepts invention proposals from kids between the ages of 5 and 19.

ByKidsforKids is looking for ‘Toys’ or ‘Games’ inventions in these categories:

* Action Figures
* Activity & Craft
* Dolls & Accessories
* Educational
* Electronic
* Games: Board/Card/Action/Skill
* Infant Toys
* Pre-school
* Plush
* Radio/Remote Control Vehicles
* Water Toys

 

You could win the Grand Prize- and receive a licensing contract from ByKidsForKids, patenting for the invention (if patentable), a $5,000 U.S. Savings Bond (purchase price $2,500/value at maturity $5,000), national recognition and a $1,000 U.S. Savings Bond for the teacher/mentor (excluding family members) who the winner feels most inspired, motivated and provided support (purchase price $500/value at maturity $1,000).

The Challenge closes April 6, 2007 and the winners will be announced in June, 2007.

There are 2 rounds in the judging process. In round 1, the entrants are judged based on questions exploring and evaluating the following factors; (a) originality/inventiveness (10%), (b) marketability with focus on creativity and market potential (90%). In round 2, the semi-finalist entrants will be evaluated with focus on market potential of the invention/product, and its ability to be successfully introduced into, and received by, the marketplace. The invention/product(s) which are deemed to have the greatest such potential will be the Grand Prize winner(s). You can find out the details here .
