Fish In A Teacup

Fish swimming around in bowls I have seen. Fishes in tanks are a common sight. But fish in a tea cup?

That is new.

Welcome the new avatar of the fish bowl.

Shaped like a tea cup, complete with a handle...this is a handcrafted innovation for fish lovers.

The designers say that abstract thought led to the creation of this eclectic fish bowl. The bowl is 8.5" wide and 6.75" high. Room enough for two little fish, a few pebbles and maybe a water plant.

The Teacup Fish Bowl is great as a gift for your fish loving friends or to keep on your kitchen sill. It will definitely become a topic of conversation if nothing else.

Priced at $39.00 the Teacup Fish Bowl might be just what you needed to perk up your day.

$39.00????

It is a tea cup:  not a new invention, not original, not something we couldn't do without and not something that solves a problem, etc. etc.  So how does this get manufactured, yet other "innovative" products (that may very well sell more and) not get even close to an approval???

This is more evidence of the ridiculousness of the getting products to the market.

(I'm not an inventor; but this product should irritate some.)

It's not a teacup. I think

It's not a teacup. I think its about ten times the size of a real teacup...if that changes anything.

Teacup Aquarium

IF fish drank tea or there were a connection between fish and teacups, this MIGHT make sense. But the closest thing I could come up with was the movie, "Tuesdays with 'Moray'".  He died.

Since the teacup aquarium doesn't have a heater, it couldn't be used for tropical fish (or eels).  That leaves goldfish, and respectable goldfish would only be caught dead in a teacup (floating like a teabag).
