They remind me of the nightmare sequence in PeeWee's Big Adventure when the X-1 is being operated on by the surgeons who when they remove their masks have these huge clown mouths laughing hysterically. Creepy... Very creepy.

have you considered selling into the Japanese market as i not the Japanese folks have already taken to wearing masks in crowded situations?
Bringing a bright smile to all those commuters might give rise to many a complex social situation.

Also very handy in plague situations to cheer up the plague victims.
