Brilliant's Invention Idea of the Week - One Grip Bagholder

One Grip Bag HolderOne Grip Bag HolderLooking for a better way to hold all those plastic bags?

Almost nothing is as painful and annoying as having to hold a series of heavy plastic bags in your hands when you go shopping. After going from the car to the house with a heavy load of groceries, you inevitably end up with red pressure welts on your hand that seem to last for hours. The only other option is to go from car to house and car to house over and over again, and who wants to do all that walking?

The answer to this dilemma is the One Grip Bagholder. And it is my pick for Brilliant's Brilliant Invention of the Week.

The merchant for the One Grip Bagholder says:

"Don't struggle with multiple shopping bags-let the One Grip Bag Holder do the heavy lifting. Also great for transporting paint cans, work pails, and other heavy, awkward items up to 50 lbs. Press the thumb tab to open and slip the handles onto the grip-locks securely. Super-strong ABS plastic with soft, comfortable grip. 9 1/2"H x 5 3/4"W x 1"D. 2 or more sets $9.99 each."

You can get a set of 2 for $12.99. (via Coolest-Gadgets) or you can get one for $4.99 at AlwaysOrganized.

What do you think of this invention idea? Do you think it's brilliant? What would you have done to make this product better?
