If you are considering buying a bike in the future, take a look first at the innovative prototype bike designed by Phil Bridge, a student at Sheffield Hallam University. Phil has designed a bike almost entirely made of recycled material and interchangeable mechanical parts for about $30.

I've mentioned it before and I'll mention it again, some recycled chairs are so unique they scream "Look what I'm made from!". They're the kind of chairs that call to you, "Sit! and relax." Are these voices in your head? Probably, but that doesn't take away from the fact that these unique eco-chairs stand out from the rest of the chairs in a very good way.

I've heard a lot of complaints from people living in small spaces (dorms, apartments, condos, etc) about their inability to garden due to lack of space. I promised some of you I would keep a look out for innovative ways you can garden even with your limited space. Thanks to The Gin Lady, I have come across a possible solution for some of you. It's called the Foldable Greenhouse.

If you've been to the beach or to an outside pool you've seen a lounge chairs right? Have you felt one? Lounge chairs can get pretty hot after with just a few minutes of sun exposure. So here's a thought. Wouldn't it be smart to innovative lounge chairs so that the chairs soak up the sun and then convert those rays it into electricity to power up electronics? PC World thinks so.

Roland Cernat, a graduate form the University of Applied Sciences Schwäbisch Gmünd/Germany, has designed an environmentally friendly plane called the Oriens. Oriens is a motor glider concept based on the cradle-to-cradle principle. The design won first prize this year at the Lucky Strike Junior Designer Award 2008.
If you feel like the heat seems to be getting worse and worse each year, you're not the only one. You're also not to only one with high electric bills resulting from trying to stay cool indoors. Staying indoors to keep cool is getting expensive. It's too hot to leave the windows open and AC off and its too hot for the AC to keep up with the heat and keep us cool. The harder the AC works the higher the electric bills get. The good news is below is a quick list of innovations items to consider when thinking of investing in ways to reduce your bill.

A firework is a low explosive pyrotechnic used for entertainment such at firework displays and holiday celebrations (4th of July, New Years, etc). Brilliant in color and explosively loud fireworks bring smiles and joy to people all over the world, but as beautiful as they are to watch there is some concern that fireworks may be dangerous to our health and to our environment.

In an effort to help Americans be less dependant on foreign oil John McCain has made a $300 million proposal. He announced his proposal recently at an event at the student union at California State University in Fresno. This $300 million proposal is to be rewarded to the inventor of a more efficient car-battery to power hybrid and electric vehicles.

The way gas prices keep going up it would be great if we could pour water in our vehicles and then take them for a drive. Crazy idea, right? Maybe, it isn't such a crazy idea. Water can power a lot of things: you, me, batteries, plants, the list goes on. Why then couldn't water power a vehicle? Maybe it can and Genepax is working on it.

An innovative automatic energy saving tool has been designed to reduce the use of electricity that is wasted when electronic devices (ex. computers) are turned on, but not in use. The invention is called the CheckTap. It won the Grand Prix in the 36th International Exhibition Of Invention in Geneva.
