The Idol franchise is cheesy but fun, so it delivers on both. I heard folks are creating a drinking game everytime the lady judge tears up...so I think I could get plastered.
Thank god its only an hour this time.

Submitted on March 21st, 2006 by Anonymous (not verified)I love it. And hate it at the same time. As long as there's one or two really good ideas each week, I think they'll keep my interest.
thanks for creating this site.
I think the show is
Submitted on March 22nd, 2006 by Anonymous (not verified)I think the show is interesting in that these inventions chosen from the audition are as Simon Cowell says 95% insane. Did they choose the best 9 and then the others for laughs? Imagine if kelly Clarkson (who the judges initially did'nt think could win), was left behind? I'm wandering if Simon isn't having a cow behind the scenes. Inventors are not sales people and great potential inventions could have been cultivated .
doesnt matter who says what
Submitted on March 22nd, 2006 by Anonymous (not verified)Doesnt matter what people say. People that hate the show and think it's dumb, will more than likey watch it. People that love it will also watch it. If you auditioned for the show, and are pissed that you didnt make it, you are going to watch the show. The only people that are not going to watch the show are people that dont dig into these forums, dont watch tv.
Well, as I understand it,
Submitted on March 22nd, 2006 by MichelleWell, as I understand it, they were only 10 thousand or so inventors who auditioned. It doesn't explain the 21 million who tuned on to it last week.
I agree, its going to be watched even by people who thought it was stupid. I think it will depend alot on what else is being shown that night.
I'll be watching tonight.
Submitted on March 23rd, 2006 by AlexisI'll be watching tonight. Curious to see if people from these two cities faired (sp?) than the people from the cities on the first episode.
worth watching?
Submitted on March 24th, 2006 by Anonymous (not verified)hi guys
i'm one of the judges.....; )i missed the episode last night
(i'm in europe)but i lived it so i know what went on...
i hope you all liked the show...just realize that we saw 50 people a day
with hardly any breaks and we have to give each person a fare response...
we can only judge what the inventors bring us....so my hope is that next year some of the skeptics will come out and step up to the plate.
we really want something great to come from this show...
next weeks episode has some very interesting inventions that do make a difference....so i hope you'll agree after you see them..
thanks for your support and hopefully this will ignite everyones
ingenuity to solve life's problems with some simple solutions.
thanks.....
the show
Submitted on March 26th, 2006 by Anonymous (not verified)My, opinion is the show is a joke, they're not looking for a great invention, the person with the biggest sob story gets on the show, I did an audition and my invention is better that anything I've seen so far, I didn't make the next round, oh well, I guess I was too serious in my presentation, I do want to thank ABC for giving me an opportunity to present my idea though, thank you and maybe I'll try again next show
anonymous judge?
Submitted on March 29th, 2006 by thinkoutsidethe...Hey, well if you really are a judge, thanks for stopping in. Europe? hmmm... is this Peter Jones?
For what it's worth, I think we're all hoping the show takes a turn for the positive. It's obviously reality tv, and that's why those inventions that are stupid, make inventors look dumb, or already exist have been brought to the show. We're waiting for the BIG ideas that make smart marketing sense. Personally, I don't really care if they're world changing. Although that would be nice. But how about some really cool products that nobody ever thought of before. That would be enough for me.
Anyway, good luck with the show. Looking forward to the rest of the season. And season two, since the ratings are so good I'm sure you'll be doing it again.
And if you ever need a guest judge in season 2, fire an email over here. I'd be happy to judge.
