New “Pacemaker” Compact DJ System is the First of its Kind - Fits in Your Pocket!


Whether you're a professional DJ or you throw a house party every now and then, the Pacemaker may be the DJ system that you've been waiting for. This DJ system is different from any other system on the market, because it's small enough to fit in your pocket and can be used in conjunction with the DJ equipment that you already have.

The Pacemaker was created by a Swedish tech company by the name of Tonium Laboratories. Although this little gadget is small enough to fit inside a coat pocket, it packs a lot of functionality into its little body. This little guy packs 120GB of memory, a full-color display (166dpi), two output channels (headphones and line-out), two crossfaders, pitch control, full equalizer controls, looping capabilities, and much more. This compact DJ system will connect to both a PC or a Mac via mini USB. You can get free editing software from the Pacemaker website that will allow you to mix music using your computer, and then you can upload your mixed music into the Pacemaker itself. The supported audio formats include: AAC, WMA, WMA lossless, OGG Vorbis, FLAC, and WAV.

This pocket-sized DJ system is a gadget that is sure to be a big hit in the DJ world. Pacemaker is even planning on offering its customers an online community where you can share you DJ mixes with others for free. If you're an aspiring DJ, this may the system that can get you up-and-running in the DJ biz.

The Pacemaker is scheduled to be available in February, 2008. Pricing is tentative, but it should be just under $500.
