In crowded Asia, innovative thinkers are always looking for new ways to cut down on space and pollution.
The battery manufacturer Rocket may have hit gold with its newest invention – the paper battery . Being advertised as “flexible and thin”, this follows nicely with Rocket’s reputation of creating thin and convenient technologies.

The battery is designed for frequent RFID users, those who make smart cards, and individuals working in the cosmetic & drug delivery system to help power up small items. It can give juice to tiny, convenient electronics such as tooth whiteners, moisturizers, and microdermabrasions.
While most batteries are prone to explosions or spills damaging to the environment, Rocket’s paper battery does not include any toxic ingredients. Able to be used on many of Rocket’s other products, the paper battery will soon be compatible with many other items as numerous countries outside of Korea’s borders attempt to duplicate such a concept.
In fact, the bendable and portable design combined with the mercy shown toward the environment just may make Rocket one of the most influential companies to take a lead from in 2007 and 2008. (via MobileMag )
