On July 11th, the New iPhone will come out, courtesy of Apple and AT&T. The question is, can the new iPhone help you hack your life and make things easier for you? The Mobile Me feature promises to do just that. This systems brilliant hack is the automatic syncing of multiple devices. That means if you make a change on your iPhone to your calender, or e-mail, or other changes to the data, your computer and iPod touch will automatically update. No human input required. Your computer does not even have to be a Mac, you can sync with a PC or if you happen to be a business user, to a Microsoft Exchange server.

This system works by syncing all of your devices to one 'cloud' of data on a server at Apple, which sends signals to all other devices on the network when you update from one to the other. Each user has their own data cloud that uses a Cisco VPN (Virtual Private Network) to keep your data secure. The only downside is that you can't use this feature with web based e-mail programs. If you want your e-mail to automatically update you are going to have to set it up through either Mail (for Mac Users) or Outlook Express (for PC users), which can be more trouble then it is worth.

So, the new iPhone can help you hack you life, with the instant updates you will never miss an e-mail, or an appointment because you forgot to sync. For the $199 dollar price tag it may be worth the investment.
