Another Roadster from the United Kingdom

Not everyone these days is worried about finding ways to save the environment or reduce fuel costs. Some are still all about performance, speed and overall excitement when they get behind the wheel. For those people, yet another open top roadster, the Jetstream SC250, has been put into production.

The SC250 may not look like something enticing at first glance, but when you take into account it only weighs 1550 lbs and puts 250 horsepower to the ground, it looks slightly more interesting. The overall power to weight ratio is 322.5 horsepower per 2000lbs of machine and provides a quarter mile time of 11.8 seconds.

The engine is a 2.0 liter twin turbo inline-4 that is mated to a close ratio 6-speed manual. Performance claims put the SC250 at 60mph in just under 4 seconds and list a top speed of 165mph. The suspension is very tight and should handle such speeds without too many issues.

The only real downside of the vehicle is the body. It looks slightly Ferrari-esque, but not sufficient enough to provoke as much interest. The $55,000 price tag won't be helping much either. However, should you decide this is something you want, there are 12 colors available and you should expect to wait between 6 and 8 weeks for it to be complete.

Oh Come On!

Ferrari-esque? What are you drinking and where can I get some? $55,000 for what amounts to a beach buggy with a more powerful motor? What a load of shite.

What is best in life? To crush your enemies, see them driven before you and to hear the lamentation of their women!
